By adding Directory Look Up to your console operator’s PC, you can significantly reduce the time
required to provide callers with useful directory information stored in the Apogee databases.
By typing the first few characters in any columns the Directory Look Up grid is instantly
updated to display only the desired records
The last columns of this screen are completely user definable and can be
setup by the administrator.
The static information displayed on the Directory Look Up grid is obtained from the central Apogee
MS SQL Server database referenced by the Apogee Directory utility. This database can be
maintained by anyone on the network with appropriate user/password privileges, by automatic
download from the PBX, or from anywhere on the world wide web when the optional Web Administration
Package is installed.
Directory Lookup with Auto Dialer
The Auto Dialer is a standard time saving feature that will
automatically connect the operator to the desired number on the
highlighted row of the grid. If the
user has setup multiple columns containing
phone numbers, like the example above, a
specific number will be dialed by clicking on
the appropriate cell within the row.
